How do I create a free account?
Step 1: Download the free Aira app.
Step 2: Open the app, enter your mobile number and select the “Continue” button.
Step 3: We’ll send you a text with a temporary, four-digit Aira code. Enter the code into the app to verify your mobile number.
Step 4: You’re now ready to connect with an Aira agent. Try it out short calls of up to five minutes are free.
Why does the Aira app ask for so many permissions?
Aira asks for permissions to deliver the best possible service. Utilizing your phone’s microphone, camera, and location features allows us to see and hear what's around you and communicate it to you effectively. You can always change permissions by visiting the settings app on your iOS or Android device.
How do I know if I am in an Aira Access Location or using an Aira Access Product?
If you have allowed notifications and location services for the Aira app, you should receive a notification whenever you enter an Aira Access Location. The home screen of the app should also tell you whether or not you’re in an Aira Access Location. To use Aira Access Product offers, you need to initiate a call with an agent via the “Call using a Free Offer” button and selecting the Aira Access Product that pertains to you. If it is not listed in this section of the app, it is not an Aira Access Product.
The call button on the home screen is disabled. How do I make a call?
If your call button is disabled, that means you do not have service, or you may have an older version of the app. First, make sure you're in an area with service or that you’re connected to Wi-Fi. Then check that you have the latest version of the app. The easiest way to do this is to go into the Apple App or Google Play store, search for “Aira”, and check if there is an update available.
