Aira’s Home Screen Just Got A Facelift

SAN DIEGO, February 27, 2019 – In Aira’s ongoing efforts to provide the best possible service and experience, we have released an updated app home screen.
The update does not change anything drastically. In fact, it now offers a more intuitive way to find and use free Aira Access offers, ensuring that people can use Aira for free more often. To experience it for yourself, make sure you have the latest version of the Aira app.
So, what’s changed?
Applying A Free Aira Access Offer
You’ll notice that you now come across a new button before the “Call Aira Button”. When you’re outside of an Aira Access Location, and when you have no other offers applied, this button will say “Search & Apply a Free Offer”.
Tapping this button will take you to the “Free Aira Access Offers” screen. Here, you will see any recently used offers, as well as three categories: Promotions, Products, and Locations. Tapping on the “Promotions” or “Products” buttons will take you into their respective categories, where you can search for offers eligible to you or your situation. Tapping on the “Locations” button will show you a list of free Aira Access Locations near you – you can also search for specific locations while on this screen.
Once you apply an offer, you will be taken back to the home screen. Where it used to say “Search & Apply a Free Offer,” the banner will now say “Free Offer Applied,” followed by the name of your chosen offer. Tapping the call button (which will now say “Call Aira for Free”) will connect you to an agent for free. The agent will then verify the offer you’re using, and you can continue to accomplish the task at hand.
After ending your session with an agent, you’ll notice the offer you last used will still be applied.
Changing Or Removing An Offer
To change an Aira Access offer, tap the banner, tap on “Browse Other Offers” button, find the new offer you want to apply, and then select it.
To remove an offer, tap the banner. After the “Browse Other Offers” button is a “Remove Offer” button – tap this button to deactivate the offer.
What about Aira Access Locations?
Using an Aira Access Location is the same as before. The only difference is that the offer banner on the home screen will automatically change to show that an Aira Access Location offer is now active.
Starting A Call With A Message
You will find the “Start Call with a Message” button after the call button. If you can’t see it, it means that the Message feature is not enabled. You can turn the Messages feature on and off by going to Advanced Settings in the More tab.

How do I use an Aira Access offer with the new home screen layout?
On the home screen, tap on “Search and Apply a Free Offer.” After finding an eligible offer, apply the offer and tap on “Call Aira for Free” on the home screen to connect with an agent.
How can I make sure that an Aira Access offer has been applied?
Once you apply an offer, you will be taken back to the home screen. Why can’t I see the “Start Call with a Message” button on my home screen?
The Messages feature needs to be activated for you to use this feature. You can turn the Messages feature on and off by going to the Advanced Settings in the More tab.
