GoodMaps has just announced the release of the suite of Sendero GPS subscription apps –  Seeing Eye GPS, RNIB Navigator and Guide Dogs NSW GPS – in all respective markets under the new name GoodMaps Outdoors. The apps will now be free and there is an Android version for the first time in addition to the iOS version.

“Navigation and accessibility require reliable, ubiquitous tools. There are countless uses for indoor digital mapping; rather than integrate the navigation app with just Aira, we’re providing this valuable navigation tool to GoodMaps,”  said Troy Otillio, CEO, Aira Tech Corp, “Our partner GoodMaps is in an excellent position to make this tool widely available, providing more value to the community we both serve.”

The app has been updated to include an Aira launch button and the ability to search for nearby Aira Access locations. GoodMaps taking over the navigation apps from Aira represents the best in collaboration. Our companies share the mission to make the world more accessible.

GoodMaps and Aira will be presenting at the M-Enabling conference October 4-6 at the Renaissance hotel, which will be configured with the GoodMaps indoor navigation technology.
