Powering Prosperity with Intuit QuickBooks

Goal:

To power prosperity in the blind and low-vision community.

 

Solution:

As many Aira users are self-employed, we worked with Intuit to create a unique program that enables eligible Aira users to connect with agents for free when conducting tasks related to managing their business.

 

Impact:

Our partnership with Intuit provides self-employed blind and low-vision people with direct (and free) access to visual information services that heighten their efficiency and productivity. This has elevated Intuit’s brand status as an inclusive leader in its industry, while simultaneously boosting the blind and low-vision community’s economy.

Inclusive Shopping at Wegmans

Goal:

For Wegmans to raise the bar on the shopping experience by making it more efficient and enjoyable for blind and low-vision shoppers.

 

Solution:

Wegmans aims to make a difference in every community it serves. So, to make a difference in the blind and low-vision community, we worked with Wegmans to create the United States’ first supermarket chain enabled with Aira Access. This allows anyone with the Aira app to connect to agents for free while shopping at any Wegmans store.

 

Impact:

Removing Technological Barriers with Vispero

Goal:

Bringing two leaders in the industry together to empower independence in new ways.

 

Solution:

We partnered with Vispero to create the first-ever Aira Access Products. This enables users to connect with Aira agents for free when conducting tasks related to basic troubleshooting with Vispero products (such as the JAWS screen reader).

This new integration was driven by community data, with the goal of providing access to information for a VFO product, while simultaneously increasing the user’s efficiency and prioritizing the features driven by the data.
