The important thing to remember is that you can now make short calls for free, every day.
More specifically, Aira is free to use for short, everyday tasks where a little information can save you a lot of time.
This applies to everyone. If you don’t pay for a plan, you get one free short call every day. If you pay for a plan, you can use multiple free short calls every day, with the added benefit that you can make those monthly plan minutes stretch further.

Q: Who can use Aira for free?
A: Anyone who has an Aira account (regardless if they’re on a plan or not) and resides in a country where Aira provides full service. These countries include USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. People without a monthly subscription receive one free call every twenty-four hours and people with a plan receive one free call every four hours. Imagine all the things you could do!
Q: I don’t pay for a plan, can I use Aira for free?
A: You sure can! You can make one call up to five minutes in length every twenty-four hours for free! You can also utilize many of our Aira Access offers for free. Check out “Apply a Free Access Offer” in your app for more information.

Q: I heard that Aira supported an unlimited number of Free five minute calls for all users?
A: On Tuesday, August 25th, 2020, 6am PST the policy for Free calls changed as described in the August CEO letter.
Q: How many calls do I get?
A: Monthly subscribers can make 1 free call every 4 hours and everyone can make 1 free call every 24 hours.
Q: As a paid account, do I still get 5 minutes free at the beginning of every call?
A: No. Instead, you will get one free call of up to 5 minutes in length every four hours. However, once those five minutes have been used you are welcome to use your monthly minutes to continue working with the agent.
Q: What happens if my call isn’t picked up by an agent?
A: The call is not counted – only calls that successfully connect with an Agent are considered.
Q: How do I know when I can call again?
A: You may find the time of the next available call via the smart app Usage tab which has been updated to provide this information.
Q: If I do not use all 5 minutes during a free call can I call back sooner?
A: No, free calls are counted by calls, not by minutes. As long as your call connects with the Agent the call is registered and you will need to wait until your next available free call as described in “How many calls do I get” Q&A.
Q: What happens when I am a paid user and I make a call of over 5 minutes and I have an available five minute free call?
A: The first five minutes will be funded by the five minute free call. The remaining minutes of your call will be deducted from your paid minutes. The next available use of the 5 minute free call will be shown in your app.
Q: What happens when I am a paid user and I make a call of over 5 minutes and I do not have an available five minute free call at the time I place the call?
A: All the minutes you use will be deducted from your paid minutes.
Q: As a paid user, do I get a choice of when to use my free call during each four-hour period?
A: No. It will be automatically applied when available.
Q: As a paid user, what happens if I am out of paid minutes, plan, or credit minutes?
A: As a paid user, you can always purchase more minutes or make use of the five minute free offer.
