Afternoon at the Museum 2022
Afternoon at the Museum is back for the 2022 season. AatM is a series of visits, mostly virtual, to interesting and enriching museums and museum-like venues, where a docent or similar subject matter expert, along with an Aira Agent take us on a guided tour.
These events are for members of the Explorer community as well as anyone new to Aira. Join us and experience what visual interpreting is all about.
Our plan is to bring you something new and significant every other month, sprinkling in the occasional fun and purely entertaining event. We’ll re-air the best of 2021 in between.

The Big Game and Puppy Bowl
February’s Afternoon at the Museum isn’t exactly a museum, but it’s certainly an institution! Join us for the annual Puppy Bowl, pre-game events and halftime show of the Big Game on February 13, 2022. Experience the fun with Aira’s visual interpreting via a Zoom webinar. It’s necessary to register in advance for this webinar here.
National Center for Civil and Human Rights
It’s no surprise that we are commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a visit to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, Georgia (originally aired 01/22/2021.) This is an incredible opportunity to experience this special museum with host Stephanie Watts and an Aira Agent doing visual interpreting.
Talk with us
While our initial focus is the blind and low vision community, if you think you’d benefit from live human remote assistance, we’d love to talk with you.
